The food was phenomenal! I think it actually made up for the terrible service. Took over an hour for our food order to come and nobody really addressed the wait. We saw a waitress when she took our order and then dinner started again until our food came out and then I had to go find somebody to take my Bill because she just dropped it off and never came back. It was a super relaxing patio and we had great conversation, but we had a show to get to down the road and they weren’t too worried about the length the time they were getting food out in.

This was a gem of a restaurant . The interior is bright but homey and the place has a youthful vibe to it. I was promptly seated outside as the crowd was light on Monday night. Although I officially had a trainee for my waitress, she was being directed by an amazingly bubbly young lady named Kaitlyn. Generally I cannot remember people's names five minutes after I met them so Kaitlyn was remarkable. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and even offered a taster to find the right beer. The best suggestion she had was to order the half salad half pasta meal. This was a great option because each is served as a full menu item. By ordering halves you get more opportunities to taste something great. This was my experience. Generally I have never liked sweet salads but the Pear Cobb was just the right amount of sweet and savory. Kaitlyn sold it well and it lived up to her description. I chose the Chipotle Vodka sauce with chicken and pasta. A little spicy but very good. As a rule I like to have my salad, wait a bit and have the main course brought out. I was surprised when both came out at the same time. This was my fault for not requesting the delay. Just be forewarned they serve both items at once. Overall a great experience. With her sweet smile and personality, I think that Kaitlyn made this an above average dining experience. Well done all.

Stopped by on our way home to Tucson. Perfectly Pear Bistro is prefect! Fresh ingredients, which come through with each bite. If you like Brussel Sprouts, you have got to try the Black & Blue Brussels. The prefect crunch married with blue cheese and bacon…an amazing combination! The sandwiches were filling and full of flavor. If you like iced tea, try the black tea watermelon. We will defiantly come back when in the area. Consider opening a location in Tucson!

Very beautiful dine in restaurant. You can dine indoors or outdoors with cool misters to keep you cooled off and plenty of shade. The waiters are extremely pleasant and they make the best recommendations! The food comes out fast and hot! The food is so very tasty and there’s such a healthy variety of meals to choose from! I was very happy to find this gem in Tempe!

I found myself in the area for a late lunch and needing a cocktail while waiting out my poor dog getting an MRI nearby. What a stressful day I was having. This place was the perfect pick. The atmosphere was great, bar was an awesome place to plop my sad self down and have some food and drink. Service was awesome. John did great. He was never pushy, had great recommendations on food. They just updated their cocktail menu and I couldn't help but try 2 of their awesome choices. They all sounded so good. I would've tried more if I didn't have adult responsibilities that day and had a DD. LOL I spent more time there than one probably would for a solo lunch and I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. If I ever find myself in the area, I'll def be going back to try more things!

Below Expectations Sometimes I just shake my head... Writing a review honestly, without being influenced by previous ratings, is a matter of integrity. Reflecting on experiences is key because, after all, it’s those fond memories we treasure most — the ones we keep talking about and hold dear. Unfortunately, we also remember the details of mediocre and poor experiences. At Perfect Pear Bistro, the service was pleasant but not efficient. At times, I noticed there wasn’t a single staff member on the floor for an extended period. I ordered the falafel taco, which was extremely dry. My wife had the French Pantry chicken sandwich, which she felt had value due to the generous amount of chicken, but the quality was lacking. The place seems popular, though I’m not sure why — perhaps there just aren’t many options in the area. We sat inside, and at first glance, it didn’t seem very clean. While waiting for our food, I glanced up at the ceiling fan, which was caked with dust and grime. It’s unfortunate that our expectations were not met. Cleanliness is everything when it comes to a food establishment, and sadly, this experience fell well below our standards.

Decided to try out the Perfect Pear Bistro. When you walk in, you will need to wait to be seated. Fortunately, there wasn't a wait time when my husband and I arrived. We both decided to start with the Tukee Pear, which is a quesadilla filled with pears, bacon, arugula & pepper jack cheese. I first thought I might not like it but was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted. Everything worked very well with each other, and my husband also enjoyed the sauce that came with it. For our mains, my husband ordered the French Pantry sandwich, and I ordered the 1/2 soup 1/2 pasta. My soup selection was the chicken noodle, and my pasta was the Toni's perfect pasta. It tasted great and had the right amount of sauce to noodle that i personally liked, and the serving size was just right. The only thing I didn't really enjoy was the soup. It tasted like the can of progressive chicken noodle soup. I mean, I like Progressive, but it's not something I want from a restaurant. Lastly, the service was great. Our server was attentive and made sure to check on us to make sure we didn't need a refill or anything. I would definitely come back again.

I've never been to this location before. It was busy on a Monday afternoon. The outdoor patio is beautiful. Plenty of parking. Even though it was busy the workers were working efficiently. The food came out quickly. I had the brussel sprouts salad and the Chipotle penne vodka. I love the salad. The pasta was alright .
